Finally... Herds of Elk

Ok, just the past two weeks we have finally seen two seperate herds of Elk up here. I've seen one single animal here or there, running up the road in front of my vehicle, but not whole herds of them...

I got a few (really bad) photos tonight so I thought I'd share them... in the very last photo the one Elk was just lying there staring at us... too bad they never gather like this during hunting season...
